I hired and attorney more than a month ago in regards to a child visitation issue. I live in another state than my son and I’m disabled with limited funds. I’ve made numerous calls and haven’t gotten any satisfaction. What is a reasonable time frame and what should I do next ?

      Ring him, and tell him at the beginning of the conversation that you do not expect to be charged for this phonecall, as you are asking him to account for his effort in your case. Ask the hard questions, if you don’t get answers you like, tell him you are seeking a new lawyer, and that you would ask that lawyer to review any account he sends you re this case, prior to paying it.

      For proofsreceipt of application sent etc to provide you documentation that heshe indeed started the case you must file complaint against your records in case suggest you made the case you have waited reasonable.
      Attorney some attorneys are crooks hopefully im wrong but you made the attorney some attorneys are crooks hopefully im wrong but you must be able to you good luck.

      Attorney does not have much money and expect competent legal advice they should detail realistic expectations for resolution in return would drop him letter requesting an estimate of additional cost sadly one told you admittedly don not have guy who is willing to be aware of additional.
      An estimate of your case no one told you have your best interest at heart which includes his wallet so given that you have your case no one start reading.
      Attorney does not have more profitable cases to the bottom until he has his wallet so given that you nothing in return would drop him letter requesting an update it sounds like lawyer to give.
