How much usually cost for the asylum attorney in general?

One of my friend will apply for the political asylum in US, I know there’s no fee for this thing if you apply by yourself.
But because she has a limited English and minimum knowledge of the Law in US, she’s planning to hire attorney.
And because she doesn’t have much money, she needs to know how much it will cost in general?

For free she should call her local catholic diocese or lutheran social service office they usually have lawyers who do it.
